Flutist/Guitarist/Composer in Pasadena with experience in audio recording/production, performance & working as a session musician.

Flute: I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Flute Performance from The Boston Conservatory, studying under Sarah Brady. I have performed many styles of music including wind ensemble, orchestra, chamber orchestra, musical theater and jazz. Being an avid supporter of new music, I enjoy working with young composers, inspiring me to start my own flute compositions accompanied by electronics. Throughout my musical career, I have won two concerto competitions, performed professional events, and have taught students of varying ages and skills.

Guitar: I have performed and studied Electric, Acoustic and Classical guitar throughout my musical career. Primarily working with electric sounds, I enjoy performing as a studio musician and songwriter. I also have experience performing guitars, banjo, and ukulele in a Theater Pit setting. My passion for contemporary and "new" music flows into my guitar playing and I actively try to find ways of creating non-traditional guitar sounds in my work; including controlling analog/digital Synthesizers with Midi Guitar.

Composition: In my flute and guitar compositions I apply my classical training to electronic music and applications. I have always been enamored by music technology and going beyond the list of a-typical electronic sounds. I enjoy working on electronic projects incorporating these traits; using midi and pre-recorded "life" sounds ala Musique Concrete.

Audio Production: I enjoy recording, producing, and mastering my own compositions in a home studio setting. I currently use Ableton Live & Maschine with a variety of Waves plug-ins and self-recorded samples. I have worked for different Audio & Visual Companies and enjoy completing Video production as well. I hope to have the opportunity to intern in a recording studio setting to gain more experience in this field.
