Jessica Fennelly, known as DateNite, is a Los Angeles-based producer, DJ, and classically trained multi-instrumentalist originally from Philadelphia. She blends dance music, electronica, and beats, drawing inspiration from driving rhythms, melodic synths, and spatial textures. As a gear enthusiast and official artist for Novation, Elektron, and Earthquaker Devices, she creates expressive atmospheres by combining analog, natural, and digital sounds, often incorporating organic elements like nature samples into her work.
A Boston Conservatory graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Flute and Guitar performance, DateNite became passionate about electronic music production after graduation and taught herself across various genres. She regularly performs throughout Greater Los Angeles using hardware, software, and voice, DJs with local collectives, and has hosted radio series while preparing to revive her monthly residency Lo Gravity. Currently in the final stages of her newest EP "See Me Like This," set for fall 2025 release, she has also performed at NAMM conventions and sustainability festivals while working as a product clinician hosting masterclasses and educational content.
